Gabby is a journalist based out of Washington, D.C., and South Florida. She is the Senior National Correspondent at Jewish Insider.
Her reporting on topics including diplomacy and foreign policy, American politics and elections, and modern Jewish life has appeared in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Tablet, Politico Magazine, and Wired. In April 2023, Jewish Insider published Gabby’s investigation into the 1984 unsolved murder of a prominent Washington rabbi, released in a special five-part series.
In recent months, Gabby’s coverage has focused on the Oct. 7 terror attacks in Israel and their fallout in the U.S. — on American foreign policy, at universities, in the music industry, in the mental health profession, and even on dating apps. She’s also documented a dramatic rise in antisemitism and profiled several of the major decision-makers guiding the U.S. response to the war in the Middle East.
Gabby previously worked on The Atlantic’s global affairs team and at NewsGuard, a media start-up that uses reporting and technology to combat online misinformation. She graduated from Yale.
Gabby has moderated panels, led workshops, and spoken to audiences virtually and across the country. Want Gabby to speak at your event? For inquiries, click here.
